Farwest Steel Expands Plate Processing Capacity

With the acquisition of four new pieces of capital equipment, Farwest Steel is making a significant investment in increasing our plate and sheet processing capacity. Continuing our tradition of being the technology leader in our industry, we secured state of the art equipment designed to provide only the best performance. To best serve our customer base, the new equipment is strategically being located in our Eugene OR, Vancouver WA, Moses Lake WA, and Oklahoma City facilities.

The new equipment, which consists of two flat lasers, a 9-torch oxy-fuel cutting machine and a 4-torch HyDefinition plasma, brings the total number of cutting machines in the corporation to 26 machines, assuring that we can meet even the most difficult of customer demands.
