In 2012 Farwest Steel broke ground on our ambitious new steel service center in Vancouver Washington. This location was meant to consolidate several Portland area facilities into one location to better serve the Portland Metro area as well as the Pacific Northwest. At our new Vancouver facility we consolidated steel distribution, first and advanced stage metal processing, our Bradbury Cut-to-Length coil leveling line, and rebar fabrication. This massive project took nearly a year to complete and opened in early 2013. You can now watch the a time lapse video from our construction camera on our Videos page.
